Meth suspect arrested
Robert Cole Corbridge, 31, was arrested Friday on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest and tampering with physical evidence, according to the Grand Junction Police Department.
Corbridge was arrested while on his bike at 3:30 a.m. Friday in the area of Mulberry Street and West Ouray Avenue, according to an arrest affidavit. An officer found a syringe in a bag Corbridge had with him and a syringe and a baggie that contained suspected methamphetamine in an eyeglasses case, according to the affidavit. When Corbridge saw the baggie, he grabbed it and put it in his mouth, according to the affidavit.
Corbridge was booked into the Mesa County Jail.
Suspicious man reported
A man the Grand Junction Police Department is calling “suspicious” was reported Oct. 23 outside Bunting Hall, a residence hall on the Colorado Mesa University campus.
The man reportedly beat on the exterior side of a residence hall window, according to the Police Department. He is described as a white man, approximately 50 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 180 pounds, with short brown hair. He was wearing dark pants, a dark hooded sweatshirt or jacket and tennis shoes at the time of the incident.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
■ A male was assaulted Saturday, causing serious bodily injury, in the 2700 block of Unaweep Avenue.
■ An assault causing serious bodily injury occurred Tuesday in the 500 block of North Fifth Street.
■ Shannon Fields and Stephanie Guillen, both 36, were issued summonses Thursday in the 600 block of Colorado Avenue on suspicion of disorderly conduct.
■ John Vaccaro III, 22, was issued a summons Saturday at 401 Main St. on suspicion of disorderly conduct.
