Meth, eluding counts filed
Shea Alexzander Becker, 26, of Gunnison, was arrested at about 5 p.m. Wednesday at 2858 North Ave., according to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office.
A Mesa County sheriff’s deputy attempted to pull Becker over on North Avenue, at which time Becker accelerated through a parking lot, then stopped and got out of his vehicle, according to an arrest affidavit. Becker complied when the deputy drew his weapon and ordered Becker to stop moving. Becker told the deputy he had methamphetamine in his jeans pocket, according to the affidavit, which was found during a search.
Becker was arrested and booked into the Mesa County Jail on suspicion of possession of 2.1 grams of methamphetamine, reckless driving, vehicular eluding, driving with a revoked license, failing to stop at a stop sign, and violation of a protection order.
$10,000 tractor stolen
The Grand Junction Police Department and Crime Stoppers of Mesa County are seeking information about a tractor theft that occurred sometime between Oct. 4 and Oct. 11.
An unknown suspect or suspects removed the blue Ford tractor from property in the 600 block of 29 Road. The tractor is worth an estimated $10,000.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
■ Kim Edward Franklin, Jr., 29, was arrested Oct. 29 on suspicion of possession of less than two grams of methamphetamine, possession of an illegal weapon and an outstanding warrant in the 2600 block of Belford Avenue.
■ A 25-year-old man is suspected of causing damage to another vehicle Saturday during a crash, then fleeing the scene and refusing to speak with law enforcement about the incident.
■ Someone stole less than $50 worth of items from a vehicle Tuesday in the 1700 block of White Avenue. Less than $100 worth of damage was done to the vehicle.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office:
■ Eric Kenneth Lynn, 22, was arrested Wednesday at 2948 Patterson Road on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, a glass smoking device, having an open container of an alcoholic beverage in a car, and violation of bail bond conditions and a protection order.
