Art stolen in Glenwood
Garfield County Crime Stoppers and the Glenwood Springs Police Department are seeking information about the recent theft of a colorful painting that was hanging on a construction fence in the 300 block of Ninth Street.
The painting was one of the new Downtown Development Authority series and is believed to have been stolen sometime between Sept. 26 and Sept. 28.

Information that leads to an arrest or indictment could be worth $1,000, which is also the estimated value of the painting.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
■ A burglar entered a business in the 400 block of South Seventh Street and caused a loss of more than $1,000.
■ A burglar entered a parked vehicle in the 3000 block of D 1/4 Road and removed items valued at less than $1,000.
■ Aspen Calton, 30, is accused of criminal impersonation, driving while revoked as a habitual traffic offender and drug charges.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department:
■ A resident at 2915 Dawn Drive, No. 3, was warned about excessive noise from a surround-sound system.
■ Deputies responded to a report of child abuse in the 2900 block of Jon Hall Avenue, and an investigation determined a 14-year-old boy had been injured by his father with a weapon.
■ A sexual assault was reported in the 600 block of Coffman Road.
According to the Montrose County Sheriff’s Department:
■ Douglas Keithley, 40, is accused of possession of a weapon by a previous offender and possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia.
