UPS worker finds stash

An employee with United Parcel Service found a package that contained illegal drugs Monday, according to the Police Department.

An investigation of the incident reported at 777 21 1/2 Road is ongoing.

Police find stolen truck

 

Someone entered a fenced yard Tuesday in the 2300 block of F Road and allegedly stole property valued at more than $20,000, including a truck. The truck has been found, according to the Grand Junction Police Department.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

 

■ Someone stole property valued at less than $500 Thursday from a vehicle parked in the 2800 block of F 1/4 Road.

■ Someone stole items valued at less than $500 Thursday from a vehicle parked in the 2600 block of Wisteria Court.

■ Someone stole items valued at more than $1,000, including several laptop computers and cash, from a business in the 2800 block of U.S. Highway 6&24. The incident was reported Wednesday.

■ Someone stole items valued at less than $20,000 Wednesday from a residence in the 2300 block of U.S. Highway 6&50.

■ Someone stole items valued at more than $1,000 Wednesday from a vehicle parked in the 2900 block of Chinto Drive.

■ Someone stole more items valued at more than $1,000 Wednesday from a vehicle parked in the 2600 block of Cambridge Drive.

■ A 15-year-old and 16-year-old boy were ticketed Tuesday on suspicion of marijuana possession. A 14-year-old boy was ticketed on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, and a 14-year-old boy was ticketed on suspicion of both marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. These tickets were issued in the intersection of North Ninth Street and Belford Avenue.
