Four face more charges

Justin Coats, 32, William Miner, 29, Chelsea Martin, 21, and a juvenile female were contacted by the Grand Junction Police Department and found to have been named in warrants.

Further investigation led to additional summonses being issued to Coan on suspicion of possession of more than 2 grams of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of a weapon by a previous offender, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful distribution of illegal drugs and criminal impersonation.

Miner was issued summonses on suspicion of possession of more than 2 grams of a schedule II substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful distribution of illegal drugs.

Martin was issued summonses on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal impersonation.

The juvenile was issued summonses on suspicion of criminal impersonation and possessing drug paraphernalia.

Coan, Miller and Martin were taken to the Mesa County Jail; the juvenile was taken to the Department of Youth Corrections.

 

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

■ A vehicle stolen in Glenwood Springs Sept. 22 was located in Grand Junction and one person has been arrested.

■ Troy Green, 22, was issued a summons Sept. 28 on suspicion of assault in the 100 block of Gunnison Avenue.

■ Shanna Aanderud, 33, was issued a summons Sept. 30 on suspicion of shoplifting and child abuse Sept. 30 at Walmart, 2545 Rimrock Ave.

■ Someone broke into a home Tuesday in the 1600 block of Chipeta Avenue and vandalized the residence.

■ Brandon Miller, 28, of Grand Junction was issues summons Tuesday on suspicion of accessory to theft and driving with a revoked licenses as a habitual offender. He was jailed because he was named in three separate warrants.

■ Ryan Oliver, 23, was issued a summons Tuesday on suspicion of shoplifting items valued at less than $500 from a business in the 800 block of North 12th Street.

■ Someone stole items Wednesday valued at less than $4,000 from a building in the 900 block of Kami Circle.

■ Thomas McCombe, 18, and Skylar Smith, 18, both of Grand Junction, were issued summonses Wednesday near Glenwood and Cannell avenues on suspicion of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

■ Angela Fuller, 34, and John Brown, 41, were issued summonses Wednesday on suspicion of indecent exposure in the 700 block of Rood Avenue.

■ Taylor Ronning, 20, was issued a summons Thursday on suspicion of shoplifting merchandise valued at less than $100 from a business in the 2700 block of U.S. Highway 6&50.

■ Eric Thuston, 23, was issued a summons Thursday on suspicion of trespassing, theft and criminal tampering in the 2400 block of Patterson Road.

■ Erik Borrell, 42, was issued a summons Thursday near the intersection of Main and 18th streets on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence and obstructing a police investigation.

■ Someone entered a vehicle in the 700 block of Horizon Drive on Thursday and removed items valued at less than $2,000.

■ Kassandra Phillips, 25, of Grand Junction was issued a summons Friday on suspicion of shoplifting items valued at less than $500 from Walmart, 2881 North Ave.

■ Someone stole items and damaged property Sept. 24 in the 2400 block of F 1/4 Road.

 

The Mesa County Sheriff’s Department did not release a jail log or activity report on Sunday.
