Arrest in motorcycle theft
An investigation into the theft of a motorcycle and trailer led to the arrest of a 28-year-old Cody Guerrero early Wednesday morning, according to the Grand Junction Police Department.
The property, valued at more than $1,000, was taken from the area of North Westgate Drive and Weslo Avenue.
Guerrero was arrested Thursday at Orchard Avenue and Seventh Street on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear, according to police.
At the same time, officers arrested Cari Hunt, 31, on suspicion of driving on a suspended license and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Four suspected in thefts
The Grand Junction Police Department made four arrests from Wednesday to Thursday evening at different locations in the 2000 block of North Avenue for thefts that occurred.
Jasmine Gillaspy, 19, was arrested and released on a summons on suspicion of theft, police said. The merchandise was valued at less than $100.
Dani Olson, 19, was arrested and released on a summons on suspicion of theft of items valued at less than $500, police reported.
Lorrie Kriplean, 40, was issued a summons on suspicion of taking property valued at less than $500, according to police. And after an investigation, Israel Gonzalez-Robledo, 37, was arrested on suspicion of theft of less than $100.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
■ Crystal Osburn, 30, was arrested Wednesday in the 500 block of 32 Road on suspicion of possession of less than 2 grams of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
■ A victim reportedly was harassed outside her home by a known person parked in front for an extended period of time Thursday morning.
■ An unknown person entered two vehicles parked Wednesdsay in the 2000 block of Caribbean Drive.
■ An item valued at more than $1,000 was stolen from a garage Sept. 8 in the 600 block of Westcliff Drive.
