Robbery suspect sought
Grand Junction police are looking for a suspect in an overnight armed robbery at a North Avenue gas station.
Just before midnight Tuesday, a man walked inside Bradley Sinclair, 2903 North Ave., and reportedly threatened two workers with a knife, according to a police news release. He left with cash and cigarettes. Nobody was injured.
The suspect was described as white with dark hair, with a “five o’clock shadow” on his face and a mole over his upper lip on the right side, the release said. He was believed to be in his mid-30s, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall and weighing about 200 pounds.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
■ Michael Cardile, 35, was issued a summons Sept. 3 on suspicion of possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and cultivation of marijuana.
■ Jamie Glenn, 31, was issued a summons Thursday on suspicion of striking someone in the 200 block of West Park Drive.
■ Tabitha Leverton, 24, was issued a summons Sunday on suspicion of shoplifting items valued at less than $100 from Walmart, 2881 North Ave.
■ Someone removed items from a vehicle Friday in the 3100 block of Lakeside Drive, causing a loss of less than $2,000.
■ Someone stole a bicycle valued at more than $2,000 from a home in the 300 block of Bookcliff Court on Sept. 11.
■ Someone stole several bicycles from a vehicle Sunday in the 700 block of Horizon Drive, causing a loss of more than $5,000.
■ Someone entered a home in the 2000 block of White Avenue on Thursday and removed items valued at less than $50.
■ Someone entered a home in the 2600 block of B 1/2 Road on Sept. 10 and removed items valued at less than $300.
■ Someone forced entry into a business Tuesday in the 500 block of 28 3/4 Road and stole three bottles of alcohol valued at $42.
According to the Montrose Police Department:
■ Robert D. Pollard, 29, was jailed Wednesday on suspicion of aggravated robbery, third-degree assault, theft and complicity.
■ Kayla M. Ocana, 20, was jailed Wednesday on suspicion of aggravated robbery, third-degree assault, theft, possession of a controlled substance and violation of a bond order.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department:
■ Juan Arevalos, 49, of Grand Junction was jailed Wednesday on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine.
■ Dustin James Sanchez, 18, was jailed Wednesday on suspicion of felony menacing and second-degree burglary.
■ Elmina Amber Shumway, 32, was issued a summons Wednesday on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to signal, and failure to show proof of insurance.
