Streaker on the highway
Deputies with the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office responded Tuesday to Colorado Highway 82 in the Glenwood Springs area, on a report of a man running naked in traffic about 7:30 p.m.
Deputies reported that the man was uninjured, but he was taken by ambulance to Valley View Hospital for evaluation.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
■ Courtney Shomshor, 20, was cited on suspicion of shoplifting on Sept. 1.
■ A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 2400 block of U.S. Highway 6&50 on Sept. 10, causing the owner a loss of less than $300.
■ Someone entered a home and stole property in the 2600 block of Belford Avenue on Sept. 13.
■ Jackie Lynn Graham, 29, is accused of drug possession on Sept. 14.
■ Brandy Hodges, 37, is accused of drug possession on Sunday.
■ Jeffrey Meilinger, 33, is accused of burglary and violating a restraining order on Sunday.
■ Joseph Maestas, 35, is accused of possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of an illegal weapon on Monday.
■ Jessica Rojas, 25, is accused of possession of a schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia on Monday.
■ A woman allegedly set fire to her own home in the 2800 block of Texas Avenue on Monday, endangering her neighbors’ residences as well.
■ Someone entered a vehicle and stole property from a home in the 2000 block of Hawthorne Avenue on Aug. 28.
■ Christopher Hightower, 34, is accused of assault and violating a protection order on Monday.
■ Buffy Piper, 42, was cited on suspicion of theft on Monday.
■ Property valued at more than $2,000 was taken from a vehicle in the 400 block of Brach Drive on Tuesday.
According to the Montrose County Sheriff’s Office:
■ David M. Meyers, 24, Montrose, is accused of harassment on Tuesday.
■ Chad M. Thompson, 30, Montrose, is accused of second-degree assault on Tuesday.
According to the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office:
■ Louisa Gomez, 53, is accused of DUI, driving with a revoked license, child abuse, and other infractions on Monday.
