Man accused of robbery at motel
Larry Dixson, 22, was arrested on suspicion of robbery of items valued at less than $500 after an incident at the Rodeway Inn, 141 N. First St., on Sept. 8. Dixson is also accused of striking the robbery victim and causing bodily injury. He’s also accused of causing damage to a motel room there, estimated at less than $500.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
■ Someone forced entry into an apartment at 506 N. 22nd St., No. 9, and stole property valued at less than $1,000.
■ Jordan Robert Brown, 25, is suspected of felony menacing, vehicular assault, prohibited use of a weapon and second-degree assault with a deadly weapon in an incident near 28th Street and Kennedy Avenue.
■ Someone stole a vehicle valued at less than $10,000 in the 900 block of Bookcliff Avenue.
■ Someone unlawfully entered a vehicle at 467 Chatfield Lane and removed items valued at less than $1,000.
■ Seth Tiefenback, 32, was arrested for third-degree assault on a health care worker at 2635 N. Seventh St.
■ Someone unlawfully entered a residence at 344 South Ave. and took items valued at more than $5,000.
■ Victoria Gutierrez, 25, was contacted at 1810 North Ave. and arrested on an outstanding warrant. She is accused additionally of criminal impersonation and possession.
