Damage at residence hall
Someone damaged property at a Colorado Mesa University residence hall, Tolman Hall, at 1140 Texas Ave.
Property with a total value of more than $1,000 was damaged in various parts of the residence hall, according to the Grand Junction Police Department. The incident occured Dec. 3.
There is suspect information and an investigation continues, according to the department.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
Chad Boyd, 48, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of third-degree assault after two people said they were struck and kicked at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Michael Garza, 23, was arrested Dec. 3 on suspicion of assaulting a person in the 400 block of Main Street.
Someone forced entry Thursday into a home in the 1800 block of White Avenue, causing less than $500 damage to a door and door frame. No items were taken from the residence.
An unknown man removed property valued at less than $20,000 from a business in the 2400 block of Patterson Road on Thursday.
The Mesa County Sheriff’s Department daily activity log for Sunday was blank.
