Police: 26 teens drinking

at South Rim Drive party

Grand Junction Police officers broke up a house party around 12:30 a.m. Sunday at a home in the 2300 block of South Rim Drive. Twenty-four minors and two other teenagers, ages 18 and 19, were issued summonses to appear in municipal court on suspicion of drinking alcohol as minors, according to the Grand Junction Police Department.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

A 13-year-old girl was cited Sunday on suspicion of assaulting a staff member at a business in the 1000 block of Grand Avenue.

Christina Leeann Bowman, 35, 450 Cottonwood Lakes Drive, was arrested Monday on suspicion of first-degree auto theft and identity theft — both felonies — and misdemeanor possession of a financial device, resisting arrest, drunken driving, drunken driving with a restrained license and violation of a protection order.

According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department:

Robert Mark Prettyman, 42, 150 Mesa Ave., was arrested Monday on suspicion of felony first-degree burglary and misdemeanor offenses of third-degree assault, five counts of menacing, false reporting to authorities and harassment.
