Vandals cause damage with paintballs

A homeowner in the 600 block of Ladore Street reported Monday that her front screen door was broken after vandals shot it four times with paintballs, according to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department. Damages are estimated at $100.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

Shawn Michael McKay, 22, 115 Alcove Drive, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of drug possession and being a fugitive from another jurisdiction.

Nancy Bassett, 43, was arrested Jan. 6 on suspicion of hitting a person in the head with a pair of scissors.

Someone on Monday forced entry into an unoccupied home in the 2800 block of Columbine Park Court and caused damages less than $1,000.
