Vandalism reports

spike in Delta

The Delta Police Department said in a news release Thursday it is investigating a rash of tags that have been spray painted around town since late November.

On Nov. 29 and Nov. 30, police took numerous reports of vandalism at businesses, churches, parks and private residences. Nine locations were hit within a two-day period, while similar incidents were reported in early December. The tags include the letters, KSU, AHH and “Asset,” which were sprayed with various colors of paint.

Anyone with information is asked to call Delta Police at 970-874-7676, or Crime Stoppers at 970-874-8810.
