Police ask for help
finding wanted fugitive
Mesa County law-enforcement agencies are asking for the public’s help in locating a wanted man.
Authorities say they are seeking 22-year-old Nathan Paul Bushey for failing to appear on multiple charges, including criminal mischief, third-degree assault, harassment, false reporting, violating bail-bond conditions and contempt of court on a restraining-order violation.
Bushey is a white male, 5-foot-10, 180 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 241-7867.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
Someone caused more than $1,000 damage to a building in the 2500 block of Broadway on Tuesday.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department:
Nicholas Ray Syers, 20, of Ash Grove, Mo., was arrested Wednesday on a warrant on suspicion of theft of between $1,000 and $20,000, identity theft and unlawful possession of a financial transaction device.
Deputies on Wednesday received reports from two women who live in the 500 block of Stanford Way that someone entered two unlocked vehicles and stole an iPod, change and other unidentified items. Total loss was estimated at $960.
