Man, 23, accused of assaulting 2 people

A man was issued a summons early Sunday morning on suspicion of punching two people during a fight, Grand Junction police said.

Ian Zuber, 23, was ticketed on suspicion of third-degree assault and false reporting to authorities after he was contacted at Fifth Street and Orchard Avenue. Police alleged that he struck two people, causing pain and injury, and gave officers a false name.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

Shirley Otero, 55, address unavailable, was issued a summons Friday on suspicion of stealing less than $1,000 in merchandise from Safeway, 2901 Patterson Road.

Dante Acker, 18, address unavailable, was issued a summons Friday on suspicion of stealing less than $1,000 in merchandise from Target, 2424 U.S. Highway 6&50.

Emily Hallenbeck, 21, address unavailable, was issued a summons Wednesday on suspicion of stealing less than $500 in merchandise from Safeway, 681 Horizon Drive.

Halen Reynolds, 26, address unavailable, was issued a summons Saturday on suspicion of causing less than $1,000 damage to property in the 1900 block of David Street.

Maricruz Loya, 19, and Catherine Manchee, 18, addresses unavailable, were issued summonses Saturday on suspicion of third-degree assault and underage consumption of alcohol after they were contacted at 2828 Orchard Ave.

Robert L. Wagoner, 51, address unavailable, was arrested Friday on suspicion of threatening another person in the northeast part of the city.

A thief stole a vehicle from the 900 block of Rood Avenue on Saturday.

A thief stole a vehicle from the 2500 block of Grand Avenue on Saturday.
