Gun threat reported
Grand Junction police are investigating a report that a man flashed a handgun during an argument at a North Avenue restaurant.
Officers were called to Los Jilbertos, 2812 North Ave., around 2:45 a.m. Thursday. They contacted the victims at 10th Street and North Avenue. They also spoke to three people who were in a car that matched the description provided by one of the victims, but officers did not find any weapons, police spokeswoman Kate Porras said.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Mesa County at 241-STOP.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
Justin Lee Perkins, 22, 2485 Fountain Head Blvd., Unit I-4, was arrested at First Street and Orchard Avenue on Wednesday on a warrant on suspicion of vehicular assault.
Rodger Leon Inskeep, 52, address unavailable, was arrested in the 2200 block of North 17th Street on Wednesday on suspicion of stalking and violation of a protection order.
Police received a report Tuesday that someone failed to return a trailer that was borrowed from the 2800 block of Columbine Park Court. The trailer was valued at more than $1,000.
Police received a report June 3 that someone stole appliances valued at more than $1,000 from a home in the 2600 block of F 1/2 Road on Feb. 23.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department:
Stephen John Bauer, 32, Englewood, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant on suspicion of theft of between $1,000 and $20,000, identity theft, second-degree criminal trespassing and probation violations.
Michael Herman Welker, 51, 6517 Uncompahgre Divide Road, Whitewater, was arrested in the 700 block of 23 1/2 Road on Wednesday on suspicion of failing to register as a sex offender.
A woman living in the 600 block of Darlene Court reported Wednesday that someone dented and scratched her car.
Deputies received a report Wednesday that someone forced open six different storage unit doors in the 500 block of 30 Road, damaging the locks.
Deputies were called out to a home in the 400 block of Sheldon Drive on Wednesday on a report of loud music. Deputies gave the homeowner a warning, then were called back out two hours later and issued the homeowner a summons for keeping a disorderly house.

Joseph Lee Conn, 22, 2029 J 1/2 Road, was arrested in the 300 block of U.S. Highway 6&50 on Wednesday on suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident, failing to report an accident, careless driving and driving under suspension.
