Equipment stolen from back of truck
Two pieces of construction equipment valued at a combined $12,000 were reported stolen from the bed of a truck Tuesday morning in the 500 block of Perkins Court, according to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department.
The theft reportedly happened at one of the stops the driver made before the truck got to the job site.
Car vandalized at community college
The Grand Junction Police Department is asking for help to finding who vandalized a silver 2006 Subaru Outback between 6:50 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., Nov. 4 in the Western Colorado Community College parking, 2508 Blichmann Ave. Someone used a sharp object to carve two long scratches and one short scratch on the driver’s-side door. Estimated damage to the vehicle is more than $870, the Police Department said.
Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 241-7867. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for up to $1,000 in cash reward.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
Alvaro Roberto Rodriguez, 28, 424 32 Road in Clifton, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of trespassing and criminal mischief to a residence, causing less than $500 damage.
A thief stole several checks Monday from Pinnacle Air Solutions, 838 Grand Ave. One of the checks was forged and cashed for more than $1,000.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department:
Someone stole a set of tires and rims from property in the 3200 block of Lorene Drive in Clifton sometime within the past week. The theft was reported Tuesday.
