Items taken from cars
Thieves targeted at least three vehicles in Pear Park on Saturday, according to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department.
A purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 400 block of 30 Selan Court. Several valuable items were taken from another unlocked vehicle in the 500 block of 31 Road. And a camera valued at $900 was taken from a vehicle in the 400 block of Dover Court, the Sheriff’s Department said.
All of the thefts were reported to the Sheriff’s Department on Sunday morning.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
Julia Marie Kunzler, 42, 3349 F Road, No. 16, was arrested Sunday on suspicion of second-degree burglary, theft of between $500 and $1,000, theft of less than $20,000, possession of drug paraphernalia, marijuana possession and drug distribution.
Jerry Allen June, 18, 436 Pisces Circle, Fruita, was arrested Sunday on suspicion of third-degree assault, felony menacing and possession of alcohol by a minor
According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department:
Property valued at $3,456 was stolen Sunday from a vehicle parked in the 500 block of Campbell Way.
Vandals threw eggs Sunday at a home in the 400 block of 30 Road.
A mailbox in the 2200 block of I 1/4 was damaged Sunday. A resident in the 2400 block of H Road also reported damage to a mailbox lock.
