Teens egg home, cars

Six Delta teens were issued summonses on suspicion of throwing eggs at a Delta home and several vehicles Saturday.

The Delta Police Department said the six were cited for allegedly “throwing missiles at vehicles” and “complicity to throw missiles at vehicles.”

One of the teens was cited on suspicion of driving the others around without using seat belts.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

Someone burglarized a home at 632 Cortney Way on Sunday and removed several items, including clothing and electronic equipment valued at more than $1,000.

Someone damaged a motorcycle parked in the 1500 block of White Avenue on Monday, causing damage of more than $1,000.

Someone broke the windows Monday of two vehicle parked at 1630 Laveta St., causing more than $1,000 in damage.

According to the Garfield County Sheriff’s Department:

Someone vandalized three cement trucks parked in the 500 block of River View Drive in New Castle sometime late Friday or early Saturday, causing more than $1,000 in damage.

Dennis Marsh, 42, of Dove Creek, was arrested Saturday on suspicion of transporting a large amount of marijuana.
