Stolen motorcycles recovered

Two men were arrested and booked into the Delta County Jail Saturday on suspicion of stealing two motorcycles.

The motorcycles were reported stolen Sept. 28 from a Delta home. A Delta police officer found two motorcycles fitting the description of the stolen ones Saturday and, after an investigation, arrested 25-year-old Daniel West and 19-year-old Aven Widner, both of Delta, for suspected theft over $1,000, a class four felony. Widner and West were released on $5,000 bond each.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

A person reported to police Friday being sexually assaulted in August in northeast Grand Junction.

Jarom Hullinger, 28, was issued a summons Saturday for allegedly harassing a man by physical contact at 2536 Rimrock Ave. and driving recklessly.

Matthew Wilkerson, 27, was issued a summons Saturday for allegedly punching a woman at Tenacious Brothers Pub, 701 Main St.

Someone stole a vehicle Saturday from the parking lot of Wal-Mart at 2881 North Ave.

Someone unlawfully opened a lock box Saturday at Mesa Mall, 2424 U.S. Highway 6 & 50, and stole less than $500 in cash.

Someone took more than $1,000 worth of items Saturday from an open garage in the 2600 block of Summer Crest Court.

According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department:

Deputies responded to a vehicle on fire at around 4 a.m. Monday in a pumpkin patch at 2311 L Road. The driver was in a car accident and deputies determined he was intoxicated.

Seamus Mulvey, 27, was issued a summons Sunday in the 500 block of 29 Road for suspected possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

The doors of a vehicle were scratched overnight Saturday in the 400 block of Alamo Drive, causing about $200 in damage.
