Boulder hospice closing its doors

BOULDER — A Boulder home for the elderly that helped residents through aging and death has closed its doors, insisting the reasons are purely financial.

Officials with the Anam Chara assisted living center said two recent complaints by state health department over conditions at the facility were not a factor.

According to the Boulder Daily Camera, founder Peggy Quinn hopes the program can continue under new ownership.
