• Dr. Kevin Fitzgerald has been appointed chief medical officer of Rocky Mountain Health Plans. Fitzgerald, a primary care physician, succeeds Dr. David Herr, who has retired.
Fitzgerald will oversee all clinical programs and medical policies for Rocky Mountain, which is based in Grand Junction.
Fitzgerald has been a physician in Colorado since 1989.
He is former medical director for United Healthcare and for Physician Health Partners, a Denver-based physician-owned management group.

• Andrew F. Brown of Glade Park has been certified as a professional engineer by the Colorado State Board of Licensure for Architects, Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors. Brown is an electrical engineer for Leitner-Poma of America in Grand Junction.

• Denise Milette, owner of is offering comprehensive tutorial packages to entrepreneurs interested in starting an online shipping business similar to her own. Milette’s home-based business ships products for other businesses and serves as a middleman between customers and businesses.
