•  The Christ Center facility will have a groundbreaking for its new ministry center at 12:30 p.m. Friday on the corner of 12th Street and Bookcliff Avenue. The center will support many campus ministries at Mesa State College.

• Jennifer Tiffin of B & B Appraisal Inc. earned a Colorado Certified Residential Appraiser license. The license requirements included 200 classroom hours and 2,500 hours of real estate experience.

• The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment designated Alpine Bank as a “Gold Leader” for its environmental leadership. The bank is the first financial institution in Colorado to receive the award.
