Police training

to close range

The 27 1/4 Road recreational shooting range, which is six miles north of H Road, will be closed from 6 a.m. to noon Thursday for law enforcement training.

Spaghetti dinner fundraiser set

 

A spaghetti dinner to benefit Carly’s Cause is set for 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at The End Zone Sports Pub, 152 S. Mesa, Fruita.

Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children ages 12 and younger. Seating is limited.

Tickets can be purchased at Turn the Page Used Bookstore, 119 E. Aspen,  Fruita, or by calling Carla at 261-5778 or Karrie at 261-0292.

 

 

Suthers to speak to Republican women

Colorado State Attorney General John Suthers will speak at the monthly luncheon meeting of the Mesa County Republican Women at noon Monday at Two Rivers Convention Center.

Cost is $15 per person. RSVP by Thursday to Joan Kelsey, 248-0815.

 

 

Meeting on seniorshome tax exemption

 

A meeting about the Senior Homestead Exemption is planned for 3 to 5 p.m. June 14, at the Mesa County Courthouse, 544 Rood Ave., in the multipurpose room.

Use the revolving door at the Sixth Street east entrance.

Mesa County Assessor Barbara Brewer and her staff will answer questions and assist with applications.
