City Hall to show work of several photojournalists

A new exhibit of photographs by local newspaper photographers opens Friday, Jan. 2, with a reception from 5–6:30 p.m. at the Grand Junction City Hall, 240 N. Fifth St.

The reception is open to the public.

Featured in the show is the work of Daily Sentinel photographers Christopher Tomlinson, Dean Humphrey and Gretel Daugherty. Also in the exhibit are the work of the Grand Junction Free
Press’ Buddy Bair and ceramics from sculpture artist Mickie Harshman.

The show will be on display on the first and second floors of City Hall from Jan. 2 until the end of March. City Hall is open weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The Commission on Arts and Culture and the City Hall Art Exhibit Committee organizes the quarterly rotating displays of artwork by local artists
