Seniors nutrition seminar today

Hilltop’s Senior Living Communities, The Commons and The Fountains are celebrating and promoting Healthy Aging Month for residents throughout September and will host a nutrition seminar at 3 p.m. today. It will be presented by Ray Jensen, of Primary Care Partners Medical Nutrition Therapy and Diabetes Education programs, in The Commons Garden Room, 625 27 1/2 Road,

Chorus sets school music fundraiser

Police, sheriff’s yard sale Saturday

Because of inclement weather last weekend, the Grand Junction Police Department and Mesa County Sheriff’s Department yard sale to benefit United Way of Mesa County, has been postponed to Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the gravel parking lot at Seventh Street and Pitkin Avenue. Refreshment sales will benefit United Way of Mesa County.
