‘Clean up Clifton’ event set for Saturday

The Grand Valley Interfaith Network, in partnership with the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office, is seeking at least 20 to 30 people to help with the organization’s first “Clean-Up Clifton” event on Saturday.

The cleanup will be from 9 a.m. to noon-ish at the intersection of the 32 Road bridge and I-70B, organizers said. They ask that people wear closed-toed shoes and dress in layers. Bags, gloves and other clean-up items will be supplied.

Participants are asked to park on the west side of 32 Road near the GVT bus transfer point, near Jiffy Lube and Jimmy John’s.

Volunteers are asked to RSVP by today with Julie Mamo of GV Peace & Justice at 260-4301 or .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
