Call out for volunteers to lead nature tours

Kids flock to see birds and nature, and you can help.

The Grand Valley Audubon Society is looking for a few children-friendly volunteers to lead fifth-grade students on nature tours during their visits to the Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory banding station at the Audubon Nature Center.

Volunteers are needed from 9–11:30 a.m. Sept. 20 through Oct. 14 (Mondays through Fridays only) while the banding station operates.

Pick a day you’re available and the Audubon Society will do the rest.

It’s a terrific way to let your enthusiasm about the wonders of nature take wing.

WHAT: Volunteers to lead fifth-grade students on nature tours.
