Governor Ritter appointed a panel which back in 2010 said—in a meeting at CMU—that we need to find more ways to fund higher education. Businesses don’t move to states without healthy university systems, an our is in danger of disappearing. By the way the panel appointed by Ritter included well known front range businessmen like Moffot. Businesses understand the need for quality education. Our voters and politicians don’t seem to have the same understanding and refuse to consider any attempt to solve the funding problems.
