Chatfield advances, King, Taylor, Pauli, Paredes defeated

Fruita Monument’s Colt Chatfield moves on in the Class 5A Colorado State Wrestling Championships. His teammate, Ty Taylor lost as did Grand Junction Tigers Matt King and Jonny Pauli were defeated. Also losing in the opening round was Central’s Martin Paredes.

The tournament continues tomorrow with quarterfinal and semifinal matches. It concludes Saturday night at the Pepsi Center with the title matches.
