CMU wins first regional game
With four players scoring in double figures, the Colorado Mesa University women’s basketball team won its first NCAA Division II regional game in school history tonight, 74-48 over Fort Lewis.
Kelsey Sigl scored 18 points, Katrina Selsor 16, Sharaya Selsor 14 and Bruna Deichmann 12 for the Mavericks, who play in the semifinals at 7:30 Saturday night against the winner of tonight’s game between Abilene Christian and Texas-Permian Basin.
