Colo. Man missing since fall found near pass

SILVERTON — The body of man missing since November has been found near the wreckage of his Jeep near Cinnamon pass.

Authorities believe 67-year-old James Filip died in the crash or because of some medical condition that led to the crash. Hinsdale County Sheriff Ron Bruce said an autopsy is not planned because of the $2,000 cost.

A search and rescue team revisited the area after a woman found a piece of luggage last week in a snow field near the Jeep wreckage that belonged to Filip.
