Continental GJ-Houston flights to begin May 3
Continental Airlines will begin flying twice a day between Grand Junction and Houston starting May 3, connecting two major energy hubs and increasing local residents’ access to Latin America and the Caribbean.
About 50 people turned out for breakfast at Mesa State College this morning to celebrate and learn more about Continental’s new service at Grand Junction Regional Airport.
The merger of Continental and United Airlines, announced last fall, along with United’s success in providing daily service between Grand Junction and Denver International Airport, spurred the decision to launch a new air service between Grand Junction and Houston, according to Randy Loveland, United’s director of regional sales.
