Cook hopes home course gives her an advantage at TaG World Championships

SABRÈ COOK WON A WORLD TITLE last year at the TaG Junior World Championships. The Grand Junction teenager will defend her title this weekend at Grand Junction Motor Speedway.



Grand Junction teenager Sabrè Cook will attempt to defend her TaG Junior World Championship title this weekend on her home course.

The kart racing event begins Friday with practice rounds and continues through Sunday with the finals at Grand Junction Motor Speedway, located at 3030 North I-70 Frontage Road.

Cook will be challenged by several drivers, including Christian Bird of Grand Junction. Bird won the Colorado Sprint Championship Series title a few weeks ago, defeating Cook.

There are 10 classes competing for world titles this weekend.
