Cops ask for public help in shooting case

WHAT WAS HE DOING here?

Grand Junction police are asking for the public’s help in finding information about Stefan Alexander Martin-Urban, the 22-year-old man they believe is responsible for killing two Grand Junction residents and seriously wounding another.

Investigators want to know what Martin-Urban was doing since 9:45 a.m. Friday, when he was first known to be in the Grand Valley. He was driving a dark green Honda CR-V with Colorado license plates GBT5217.

Officials were not immediately aware of any criminal history for Martin-Urban, who moved to Lakewood seven weeks ago from Los Angeles, authorities said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Grand Junction Police Department’s tip line for the case.
