Cops raid house on Orchard Mesa
Three people were arrested on suspicion of a variety of drug charges early Thursday after SWAT and Western Colorado Drug Task Force officers executed a search warrant at an Orchard Mesa home.
Tracy Hampton, 35, 612 Hudson Bay Drive, Jonathan Lachance, 50, 456 Bing St., and Lisa Stetor, 44, 218 Dream St., Unit B, were contacted by officers inside a garage at 218 Dream St., Unit B, around 2:30 a.m. Thursday, according to arrest affidavits.
“Lachance was located lying on top of a broken methamphetamine bong,” an affidavit said. “The stem portion of the bong with the bulb was stuck to the front of Lachance’s shirt.”
A search of the entire home yielded just under 2 grams of suspected meth on a table in the garage.
The Dream Street home was targeted after Task Force officers were told ounce quantities of meth were allegedly being dealt there, an affidavit said. Prior to the raid, Stetor sold approximately 7 ounces of meth to a confidential informant, an affidavit said.
Hampton was arrested around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday in the parking lot of Walmart, 2881 North Ave., after an informant claimed he was selling meth and arranged a deal, an affidavit said. Hampton was met by officers in the parking lot, where they found just over 2 grams in a pants pocket.
