Evening of cowboy poetry, music
Cowpokes and city folks are invited to attend an evening of poetry, music, food and fun at the Glade Park Cowboy Poetry Festival.
A benefit fundraiser for Glade Park Community Services Inc., the festival is set for Saturday, July 14, at the Glade Park Community Service Building on 16.5 Road on Glade Park.
A barbecue dinner will be served at 6 p.m. followed by poetry from Terry Nash and Donnie Wynkoop and music by Peggy Malone and Deb Bukala from 7–9 p.m.
Cost is $10 per person, and $25 for a family of four. Extra plates are $10. Take a chair and leave pets at home.
The Glade Park Community Service Building is 2/10 of a mile north of the Glade Park Store.
