Craig looking for solar energy site

CRAIG — The Craig City Council and Yampa Valley Electric Association are in the market for a solar garden.

Solar panel manufacturer Clean Energy Collective is in discussions with government and company officials to find a place to build a 5-acre solar panel garden.

According to the Craig Daily Press, the garden would have about 2,300 panels and could provide power in roughly 200 homes.
