■ Former Grand Junction resident Arlene Carstens, 93, died June 16, 2012, at her home in Chino, Calif.

Ms. Carstens was a bank teller.

Survivors include one son, Leslie of Alberta, Canada; one daughter, JoAnne Boudreau of Chino Hills, Calif.; one sister, Julia Walrath of Spencer, Iowa; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
