■ Alma Anema, 97, died March 12, 2013, at Aspen Ridge Alzheimer’s Special Care Center.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Olinger Hampden Gardens in Denver.

Ms. Anema taught in a one-room schoolhouse, then became a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Charles of Arvada and David of Montrose; one daughter, Judith Dillard of Grand Junction; one brother, Paul Van Kooten of Grand Rapdis, Mich.; 11 granchildren; many great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.
