■ Miriam Lee Karsten, 74, Grand Junction, died Jan. 28, 2012, in Loma.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Feb. 18 at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.

Mrs. Karsten was an office manager.

Survivors include her husband, Fred; two sons, Brian of Loma and Russell of Southold, N.Y.; three daughters, Leslie Smith of Bethesda, Md., Lynne Smith of Potomac Falls, Va., and Christina Karsten of Grand Junction; her mother, Kathleen S. Speed of Grand Junction; one brother, Thomas A. Speed of Grand Junction; and seven grandchildren.

■ Otto P. Schultz, 88, Grand Junction, died Jan. 29, 2012.

Services will take place Feb. 11 in Jamestown, N.D.

Mr. Schultz was an owner/operator of an auto repair service.

Survivors include two sons, Donald P. of Grand Forks, N.D., and Bruce of Shepherd, Mont.; two daughters, Donna of Grand Junction and Paula of Whapton, N.D.; one stepson, Orton Gray of Madison, Wis.; one stepdaughter, Diana Carlson of Jamestown, N.D.; two brothers, Leonard and Oswald, both of Jamestown; one sister, Elsa Koenig of Fargo, N.D.; and 10 grandchildren.
