• Darl A. Bower, 67, New York, died April 15, 2009, at New York University Medical Center.
Mr. Bower was a retired vice president of The Bank of New York.
Survivors include his mother, Evelyn Stone of Louisville, Colo.; one brother, Alan Bower of Grand Junction; and one sister, Sandra Ransom of Lafayette.
• Joycelyn L. Hamilton, 84, died April 14, 2009, in St. James, Mo.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Peaslee of Rolla, Mo., and Vicki Cochran of Grand Junction; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

• Robert L. Jenkel, 81, Grand Junction, died April 13, 2009, at his home. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. May 3, 2009, at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church.
Mr. Jenkel was a salesman in the agriculture industry.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce; one son, Dale of Grand Junction; one daughter, Cythi Eley of Aurora; three sisters, Elizabeth Folts of Genesco, N.Y., Frances Koukal of Tucson, Ariz., and Vivian Riethmiller of Delevan, N.Y.; and one grandchild.

• Lugarda G. Manzanares, 93, of Grand Junction, died April 16, 2009, at her home.
Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
Mrs. Manzanares was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Eppie of Fountain and Gene of Grand Junction; four daughters, Evelyn Vega of Salt Lake City, Pat Gomeza of Nyssa, Ore., Viola Frende of San Antonio, Charlotte Lobato of Grand Junction; and one sister, Patricia Connell of Fruitland, Idaho; 22 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and many great-great grandchildren.
