Death notices, April 21, 2013

Mary Ann Lipinski, 90, Grand Junction, died April 20, 2013, at The Atrium of Grand Valley.

Services will take place later through Martin Mortuary.

Ms. Lipinski was a florist.

Survivors include two sons, Tim of Guerneville, Calif., and Thom of Clawson, Mich.; and two daughters, Carol of Grand Junction and Camille of Lakewood.

Robert W. “Bob” Reed, 76, Austin, died April 18, 2013, at his home.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Delta, followed by inurnment at Cedaredge Cemetery in Cedaredge. A light luncheon will follow at 21069 Lanning Road in Austin.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; three daughters, Debra Ogaz of Santa Cruz, Calif., Donna Marlow of Sterling, Kan., and Julie Williams of Grand Junction; one son, Kenneth of Grand Junction; two stepsons, Gregory Gohn and Marc Gohn Sr., both of Grand Junction; one stepdaughter, Kathleen Maybury of Meeker; three brothers, Tony of Cedaredge, Don of Cory and Calvin of Grand Junction; one sister, Bernice Van Matre of Grand Junction; 20 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

James Konrad Schultz, 56, Fruita, died April 18, 2013, at his home.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Survivors include three brothers, Frederick of Germantown, Md., Harold of Albuquerque, N.M., and Timothy of South Lake Tahoe, Calif.; and two sisters, Jennifer Kolasky of Fruita and Wendy Martinez of Colorado Springs.

Don C. Serrano, 81, Fruita, died April 18, 2013, at Hospice Care Center.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary, followed by a rosary at 7 p.m.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial following at New Elmwood Cemetery in Fruita.

Mr. Serrano was an assistant foreman on the railroad.

Survivors include his wife, Sylvia; one son, Anthony of Grand Junction; two daughters, Carol Serrano-Aarness and Jeanie Lister, both of Fruita; one brother, Larry of Grand Junction; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
