John Christopher Campbell, 49, Clifton, died April 18, 2014, at his home.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary Chapel.

Mr. Campbell was a tile setter.

Survivors include his parents, Tom and Bonnie of Grand Junction; and two sisters, Kimberly Greathouse of Grand Junction and Michelle Speir of Newnan, Ga.

Dorothy S. Childs, 91, Fruita, died April 20, 2014, at Family Health West.

Survivors include one son, Edward James of Brasilia, Brazil; one daughter, Carol Ann Whiteman of Westminster; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

■ Former Grand Junction resident Jessie Mae Clyde, 94, of Longview, Texas, died April 18, 2014, in Longview.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Burial will follow at Orchard Mesa Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Clifford Bass and Peter Chaney, both of Grand Junction; one daughter, Sheila Samford of Longview; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

■ Former Grand Junction resident Don Leonidas Hicks, 91, of Yakima, Wash., died April 10, 2014, at Cottage in the Meadow in Yakima.

Private services were held.

Mr. Hicks was a commercial fisherman.

Survivors include his wife, Olivia; two sons, Douglas and Dana of Yakima; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Jack Hunt, 72, Grand Junction, died April 21, 2014, at Hope
West Hospice Care Center.

Visitation will from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Services will follow at Orchard Mesa Masonic Cemetery.

Mr. Hunt was an industrial hygienist.

Survivors include his wife, Karen; two brothers, Bob of Grand Junction, Dale of Mesquite, Nev.; and one sister, Jan Frick of Grand Junction.

Betty L. Kiehn, 82, Fruita, died April 19, 2014, in Grand Junction.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.

Ms. Kiehn was an army veteran.

Survivors include one son, Warren of Chamberlain, S.D.; and four daughters, Nora Goetz of Fruita, Amelia Kiehn of Castle Rock, Alison Stoecker of Varna and Katherine McDonough of Tulsa, Okla.

Memorial contributions to Veterans Cemetery Fund, 2830 Riverside Parkway, Grand Junction 81501.

Cecil Philpott, 93, Grand Junction, died April 18, 2014, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3076 E 1/2 Road.

Survivors include his wife, Mae Belle; two sons, Tracey Philpott of Commerce City and Ken Philpott of Paonia; one daughter, Elaine Hogue of Casper, Wyo.; one brother, Dwight Philpott of Sheridan, Mont.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Gregory Rolfe, 61, Frisco, died April 16, 2014, at his home.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Orchard Mesa Cemetery.

Mr. Rolfe was a retail clerk.

Survivors include his son, Matt of Grand Junction.

Wanda Louise Roper, 92, Grand Junction, April 20, 2014, at HopeWest Hospice Care Center.

Services are pending through Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.

Ms. Roper was a clerk with Rio Grande Railroad.

Survivors include her sister, Elva Nadine Spry of Grand Junction.
