■ Margaret A. Brodel, 89, Hotchkiss, died April 21, 2013, at Delta County Memorial Hospital.
No services will take place at this time.
Survivors include husband Frank; three sons Rick and Martin, both of Hotchkiss, and Ken of Renton, Wash.; two daughters, Keita Davis of Paonia and Mary Simon of Grand Junction; one sister, Ruth Miller of Wisconsin; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

■ Paula Jean Hood, 71, Fruita, died April 20, 2013, at her home.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Church of Christ in Rangely.
Ms. Hood was an administrative assistant.
Survivors include two sons, Terry of Logan, Utah, and Kenneth of Parker; one daughter, Kari Guy of Denver; and five grandchildren.

■ Martha A. Kowalski, 77, Palisade, died April 21, 2013, at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Private services will take place.
Ms. Kowalski was a certified nursing assistant.
Survivors include one son, Richard of Grand Junction; one daughter, Anna May Beekman of Cayucos, Calif.; one sister, Ann Hallowell of Bullhead City, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
■ Patricia L. Owens, 75, Paonia, died April 22, 2013, in Grand Junction.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Paonia Christian Fellowship, followed by burial at Bethlehem Cemetery in Paonia.
Survivors include four sons, Tim and Richard, both of Grand Junction, Brian of Colorado Springs, and Robert of Fruita; one daughter, Tina Vigueria of Paonia; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

■ Jesse E. Retherford, 89, Grand Junction, died April 22, 2013, at Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary, followed by services at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at 1 p.m. Monday at Oddfellows Cemetery on Orchard Mesa.
Survivors include three sons, Dennis of Cortez, and Doug and Terry, both of Grand Junction; one daughter, Lori Ann Erb of Grand Junction; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

■ Thomas Forestal Shea, 90, Grand Junction, died April 23, 2013, at Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Visitation and rosary will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Services will take place at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Delta. Burial will take place at Delta City Cemetery.
Mr. Shea was a retired rancher and farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca; three daughters, Teri Perchacz of Lakewood, Karen Butler of Grand Junction, and Loretta Martens of Windsor; one brother, Jim of Delta; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
