Mary Katherine Amen, 85, Fruita, died April 25, 2012, at her home.

Visitation will be at 6 p.m. today at Sacred Heart Church in Fruita. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. at the church. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Ms. Amen was the owner of Goldie Locks.

Survivors include four daughters, Pamela Mae Anderson of Thornton, Rebecca JoAnn Paladino of Fruita, Sherry Lynn Pelz of Westminster and Deborah Jean Temple of Fruita; one sister, Katherine Mary Fritzler of Merino; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

■  James K. “Jim” Dyer, 87, Grand Junction, died April 23, 2012, at the Veterans Affairs Community Living Center.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce; one son, Jon of Grand Junction; two daughters, Jan Dyer of Escondido, Calif., and Jayne Dyer Reiber of Grand Junction; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

■  Elizabeth Prudence “Prue” Louise Hardy, 64, Grand Junction, died April 25, 2012, at Hospice Care Center.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Hardy was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Michael of Grand Junction; two daughters, Ellen Conrado of Meeker and Paige Hardy of Brookline, Mass.; one sister, Jenny Brenner of St. Helens, Tasmania, Australia; and four grandchildren.

■  Jeremy Lee House, 35, of Fairmont, Minn., died April 21, 2012, at his home.

Services will be private.

Survivors include his wife, Julie Marie House of Clifton; four sons, Jay Hagadorn of Fruita, Brandon and Braylon House, both of Iowa, and Kyle Patow of Grand Junction; and one daughter, Brianna House of Iowa.

■  Kevin Thayne LaQuey, 51, of Tucson, Ariz., died April 21, 2012, at his home.

Private family services will be held May 12 in Hesperus.

Mr. LaQuey was the founder of Mesa Funeral Service.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda of Grand Junction; his parents, Jerry LaQuey of Pagosa Springs and Kathy Riggle of Tucson; one brother, Kyle of Seattle; and one sister, Kristi Hilton of Pfluegerville, Texas.
