Sherrell “Gus” Gerstler, 77, Grand Junction, died March 3, 2014, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Services will be at 3 p.m. April 22 at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.

Mr. Gerstler was the owner and operator of a cement business.

Survivors include his wife, Lois; two sons, David Gerstler of Clifton and Ronald A. Gier of Grand Junction; two daughters, Debra Dillard and Cheri Mortensen, both of Grand Junction; one brother, Larry Gertsler of Michigan; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions to Veterans Affairs Medical Center of Western Colorado CLC Unit, 2121 North Ave., Grand Junction 81501.

Norris “Bud” Patrick McMahan Sr., 84, Montrose, died April 3, 2014, at the San Juan Living Center.

No services are planned.

Mr. McMahan was a former Mesa County Sheriff’s deputy.

Survivors include four sons, Norris P. Jr. and Louis, both of Redding, Calif., and Thomas and Timothy; one daughter, Laura Powell of Gardenerville, Nev.; and two sisters, Charolette Helm and Dorothy Fountain, both of Salem, Ore.

Phyllis M. Pulliam, 93, Grand Junction, died March 28, 2014, at HopeWest Hospice.

Services will be at a later date at the Cory Cemetery in Cory.

Survivors include one daughter, Rhonda Ford of Grand Junction; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
