■ Thomas S. Recher, 89, Grand Junction, died July 30, 2012, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Visitation is 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday with a service to follow at 10 a.m. at Clifton Christian Church, 615 I-70 Business Loop. Burial follows at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Recher was a carpenter.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis; one son, Brian T. of Montgomery, Ala.; one daughter, Ruthann Recher of Grand Junction; four grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

■ Dr. G. Paul Smith, 97, Grand Junction, died July 30, 2012, at Hospice Care Center.

Service arrangements are pending with Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.

Dr. Smith was a physician.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia M.; two sons, Gregory James of Denver and Gary Paul of Billings, Mont.; one daughter, Sandra Louise Smith of Denver; and one grandchild.
