■ Mary Annee Etheridge, 87, Delta, died Aug. 21, 2012, at her residence.

A service is 10 a.m. Friday at Calvary Baptist Church. Burial follows at Delta City Cemetery.

Survivors include three sons, Ben of Delta, Mike of New York City, and Larry of Arvada; two daughters, Kathy Kolman of Delta and Marilee Dolan of Louisville; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 1290 A St., Delta, CO 81416.

■ Edward E. Maurer, 84, Palisade, died Aug. 22, 2012, at Hospice Care Center.

A graveside service is 11 a.m. Friday at Orchard Mesa Cemetery.

Mr. Maurer was a uranium mining engineer.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley P. Craig-Maurer; one son, Mark Craig of Seattle; four daughters, Laura Atkinson of Fruita, Paula Manson, Diane Linthicum and Carolyn Goodwin, all of Seattle; one brother, Robert Maurer of Anchorage, Ala.; and one grandchild.

■ Carol S. Morford, 68, Collbran, Aug. 21, 2012, at her home.

A gathering of family and friends is 10 a.m., Sunday, at 57348 ME Road, Collbran.

Ms. Morford was a registered nurse.

Survivors include her husband, Joe; one daughter, Amanda Elizabeth Pulliam, Elgin, Okla.; one brother, Terry Mercer, Woodstock, Ga.; and three grandchildren.

■ James M. Newland, 62, Delta, died Aug. 28, 2012, at his home.

A graveside service with military honors is at a later date at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.

Survivors include his wife, Connie; three sons, Izaak Newland of Paonia, Timothy Iverson of Chula Vista, Calif., and Anthony Iverson of Minneapolis, Minn.; one daughter, Tamara Martin of Cass Lake, Minn.; and numerous grandchildren.
