■ Aredis Jack Ajarian, 66, Grand Junction, died Aug. 22, 2013, at his home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Martin Mortuary Chapel.
Survivors include three brothers, Menas of Grand Junction, Vasken of Las Vegas, Nev., and Maurice; and one sister, Ayda Jackie Ajarian of Grand Junction.
■ Thomas Eric Heaps, 56, Grand Junction, died Aug. 19, 2013, at his home.
Mr. Heaps was a retail manager.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine; three daughters, Crystal Seevers and Erica Bailey, both of Fruita and Carmen Owens of Grand Junction; his father and mother, John and Helen Heaps, both of North Carolina; one brother, Jim of Grand Junction; one sister, Jennifer Gwaltney of North Carolina; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
■ Betty Ann Hentze, 88, Delta, died Aug. 20, 2013, at Willow Tree Care Center in Delta.
Survivors include one son, Joseph of Delta; one brother, John Arnett of California; and one grandchild.
■ Pilar Mendez, 85, Delta, died Aug. 22, 2013, at his home.
Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Monday at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Delta. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Monday at the church. A Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Church. Burial will be at Mesa View Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Martha; three sons, Armando of El Paso, Texas, Ricardo of Longview, Texas, and Arthur of Cedaredge; two stepsons, Jose Manuel Velasco and Jorge Velasco, both of El Paso; three daughters, Maria De Pilar Mendez of Sunland Park, N.M., Ester Aguilera of Santa Theresa, N.M., and Nancy Mendez Garcia of Montrose; three stepdaughters, Dora Elia Velasco and Sylvia Chacon, both of El Paso, and Maria Delores Santiesteban of Sunland Park; 27 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

■ Wilma Ruth Rowland, 91, Rogers Mesa, died Aug. 21, 2013. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hotchkiss Community United Methodist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Vernon of Blue Springs, Mo., Ron of Denver, Barry of Bradenton, Fla., and Brian of Houston, Texas; one daughter, Kathleen Hooper of Leawood, Kan.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
